My name is Bernard (Bernie) Braddy, and I’m a licensed residential contractor based in Colorado and the proud owner-operator of Braddy Building Incorporated. With a deep background in both design and construction, I’ve spent decades building homes that blend my craftsmanship with each homeowner’s unique vision.

You’ll find my work in and around Cañon City—homes built with care, featuring a wide variety of floor plans and personal touches. Every project reflects a collaboration between myself, trusted subcontractors, and the homeowners, creating spaces that are not only functional but deeply personal.

I take great pride in my integrity, precision, and eye for detail. From the first scoop of dirt to the final inspection, I stand behind every phase of the building process. I’m well-versed in local and international building codes and have built strong, long-standing relationships with area suppliers, subcontractors, and utility providers. Raised right here in the region, I bring an insider’s understanding of the land, the challenges, and the best ways to build beautiful, long-lasting homes in our unique environment.

I got my start in the trades back in 1984, graduating from the Homes By Ed program, and gained valuable hands-on experience through work with the Department of Corrections, college projects, and eventually developing my own subdivisions and homes.
